The Yew Tree is located in the beautiful village of Frieth in the parish of Hambleden, Buckinghamshire. It lies on the top of ‘Frieth Hill’, which is part of the chalk escarpments of the Chiltern Hills.
Located 5.1 miles from the M40 J4, 4.5 miles from Marlow and 7.5 miles from Henley-on-Thames, Frieth is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is well worth a visit.
The pub itself has plenty of onsite car parking and is a great place to start or even better finish a walk in the beautiful Hambledon Valley – we hope to see you soon.

Don’t forget, if we’re closed (Mondays, Tuesdays and staff holidays) our sister pub the Grouse & Ale is just up the road in Lane End and has a super kitchen and front of house team who will be happy to look after you.
Right now we are on the look-out for great people to join the Yew Tree team. Whilst previous experience is desirable, as long as you enjoy looking after people and are able to work evenings and weekends, we would like to hear from you.
Our rates of pay are competitive and our policy is to promote from within wherever possible. So if you are considering a career in the hospitality industry, you will benefit hugely from working with our focused and successful team.
